Visa Exemption for Thailand
Most international participants attending MCARE 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand can enter without obtaining a visa in advance. As of 2026, nationals of 93 countries and territories are eligible for visa-free entry for up to 60 days, which is sufficient for conference attendance.
Key Information for MCARE 2026 Participants
- 93 countries eligible for visa-free entry (up to 60 days)
- South Korea (Republic of Korea): 90-day visa-free entry under bilateral agreement
- Visa on Arrival (VOA): 31 additional countries qualify (15 days, 2,000 THB fee)
- Passport must have at least 6 months of validity remaining from the date of entry

e-Visa Application
If your country is not included in the visa exemption or Visa on Arrival list, you must apply for a visa before traveling to Thailand. Since January 2025, Thailand has fully adopted an e-Visa system. All visa applications must be submitted online through the official Thai e-Visa portal.
Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)
⚠ Mandatory for ALL Foreign Visitors
Since May 1, 2025, all non-Thai nationals entering Thailand by air, land, or sea are required to complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) online before arrival. This applies regardless of visa status, including those entering under the visa exemption scheme.
- Must be submitted within 3 days (72 hours) before arrival in Thailand
- Replaces the former paper TM6 arrival/departure card
- Free of charge on the official government website
- A confirmation QR code will be sent to your email after submission
- Available in English, Chinese, Korean, Russian, and Japanese
